Lincs Leafy Lanes

Starting in urban Lincoln the route quickly changes to delightful tree and hedge lined country lanes with lots of birdlife.Without any hills it's a flat route ideally suited to those stepping up to a longer distance for the first time.Crosses over the upper stretches of the River Witham with interesting countryside all around.Stop off for refreshments at The Generous Britton pub in the delightful village of Brant Broughton,a lovely ride. You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.
