Starting point

Outside Jamie B's Cafe, Oak House, Waterside South.

Lincoln Breeze have been invited to join with the Lincoln Cycle Chimps on a round trip along part of the traffic free Sustrans NCN Route 1 Water Railway to Bardney to have Fish & Chips at the Lovely Bardney Fryer, at Platform 1 of the Bardney Heritage Centre, before returning to Lincoln back along the Water Railway. It's an 18 mile round trip :) (The Fish & Chips make it worth it ... and Lent is all about doing hard things and testing yourself a little just in case you are a little daunted by the distance ... it is however a totally flat route!) Please note Lights will be Essential as it is a totally unlit cycle route and it will be dusk going and full dark coming back. Mostly tarmac, some sections are a little rougher as always happens but a largely well maintained path. Suitable warm clothing is also advised for this reason too.
