About the route
Starting point
Pennington Hall Park Car Park, Pennington Ave, Leigh. WN7 3JD. This is the car park at the park and NOT the one at the Flash.
This leisurely ride will take us from Leigh through Astley, Tyldesley, Howe Bridge and on to Lilford Park.
We'll use canal towpath, old railway lines, cycle path and some very short road sections.
We'll have a refreshment break along the way so please bring a snack/drink or money to buy something.
The paths can get a bit muddy so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
