HA5 1RL

We will ride on quiet roads, cycle paths and country lanes from Eastcote via Northwood and Moor Park through Whippendell Woods, Belsize and Flaunden to get to Ley Hill. The classic car show starts at 12 noon, but we will aim to get there by 11:30am to watch the cars coming onto the cricket pitch for the show.
There is usually a mobile coffee van and the cricket pavilion bar will be open for refreshments, but please bring water and a snack as there are a few hills on route, so refuelling is required.
We will be looking out for the P6 Rover club, in particular Barrie's avocado green P6, in the picture above.
The return route will be via Chenies and then Chorleywood, where there is an option to jump on a train if you are feeling tired. Once we have traversed the roads around the common, we will cycle down to Rickmansworth and pick up with the same route back from Moor Park.
Most of the route is tarmac, but there are some gravelly sections particularly through Whippendell woods, so hybrid tyres would be recommended.
