This is a free car park by the pharmacy in Chirk. There are also public toilets here as well as ones in glyn Ceiriog which we will be passing on our ride. LL14 5DH, LL14 5DH

From Newbridge we head towards Plas Madoc and follow the cycle path into Ruabon. From Ruabon we will head towards Sontley and then to Eyton. From Eyton we loop back to Ruabon on an undulating road. From Ruabon we head back to Pentre we will head back to Chirk via the Marina and then have a well deserved cuppa at the end.
This route is undulating but there are some lovely views.
A lovely route which incorporates a world heritage site as well a lovely views. This route incorporates over 1200ft of climbing so it’s not suitable for beginners but perfect for ladies who want to improve their climbing. The pace will be 9-12mph.
The route will consist of quiet lanes mainly. There are some main roads which we will take extra care.
We can stop anytime for a drink, a photo etc and we will have a well deserved cuppa at the end of the ride at cafe Wylfa.
Helmets are mandatory. Please also bring a spare inner tube as well as tools. Please also bring card if you wish to make a purchase at Cafe Wylfa but please note they only take cards and not cash. Please also bring a drink and or snack.
