Let's Ride to Rushmore

This is a nice and steady ride along quiet country lanes.   If you do have a child who you think is capable of riding nine miles in two blocks of 4.5 miles with a break at Rushmore and who is on a bike with wheels of 20" diameter or more then they can come along! Please make sure you book them in as they take one of the of the eight offered spaces! Please make sure your and your childs bike are in good working order :-)   We will stop at Rushmore Country Park, so if you think you might fancy some refreshments please bring some money (they are selling teas and coffees for just a pound to us intrepid cyclists :-) )   We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider, so no one will ever be left behind.   It is a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way.   Wearing a helmet is advisable, if you don't have one don't worry you can still take part.
