This is a ride we do about once a year; it features two climbs, but choose the right gear and they are very do-able with the reward of a long descent giving you plenty of recovery time. The "good" news is that both climbs are in the ride out and once you stop for coffee you know they are over

We will be on country road and lanes the whole time

We stop at the Village shop and cafe In Richmond Village in Letcombe Regis; it's a very good and welcoming cafe

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some places only take card payments.

We welcome newcomers to our ride group, but we want you to enjoy the ride so please consider the route, distance and terrain. If this ride is likely to be a bit difficult then check out our other rides which we put on for newbies and returners and join us on something easier
