We leave CWP on R45 of the National Cycle Network and follow close to what was the route of the old railway, over the Curly QWurly bridge to Chiseldon where we will meet some riders from Shrivenham and then we will be be cghugging our way down the old railway path to Marlborough for our coffee'n'cake stop before return over the same route

A chance to experience the joys of riding trails on the National Cycle Network as we pick up the Old Swindon-Marlborough Railway Path and pass by the location of the HQ of the Army Cycling Corps and other interesting bits of history.

95% of this ride is completely off road on the tracks and trails of the National Cycle Network R45 and R482. Two short sections of residential roads in Chisledon and Marlborough

We have a great venue for our stop in Marlborough

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments. Although our bikes should be safe at the coffee stop you should consider bringing a lock

We never leave anyone behind
