A British Cycling "Ride Through Winter Ride"

The earlier and later parts of the ride are on busy main roads but the route takes on a circuit of Croxteth Hall and Gardens where some of the park paths are of gravel finish and can be a little wet and muddy at this time of year. Always passable with caution.

We will take a short comfort and refreshment break at Croxteth Hall for coffee or if you are brave enough, an ice cream!

All riders will be required to wear a helmet and carry spare inner tubes and the means to be able to repair a puncture (assistance will be provided if required). Please also do wrap up warm and wear plenty of layers and don't forget your gloves; it is still winter and it will be cold!

It is essential that everybody enjoys the ride so it will be at a gentle pace (average 8-10mph) and will be determined by the overall pace of the group. Plenty of stops for a breather and hopefully an opportunity to take lots of photos! Always remember, we will never leave anyone behind!
