PL31 2RD

This gentle ride is along the flat Camel Trail. It’s an ideal ride for ladies who are beginners / just back on their bike / those who prefer not to ride on busy roads. We stay together as a group and won’t leave anyone behind. The ride is traffic free apart from a short section in Wadebridge. We will cycle to Wadebridge and take a break for a refreshments before heading back. The trail surface can be muddy so you might like to bring an old towel to cover your car seat! Remember to bring: helmet, inner tube and a puncture kit, sanitiser, face covering and contactless payment card.
Taking place across January and February 2021, the chilly challenge incentivises riders joining a HSBC UK Breeze while at the same time raising awareness and funds for World Bicycle Relief. There are four challenge windows:
Spread some cheer (1st – 15th January)
Change a life (16th – 31st January)
The road, trail or cycle path less travelled (1st – 14th February)
Capture the moment (15th – 28th February)
Anyone participating in a ride during these challenge windows will be entered into a prize draw for various cycling goodies/accessories. Those registering to fundraise will receive a unique money-off code for World Bicycle Relief’s charity partner, Stolen Goat.
There will be absolutely no requirement to fund raise on any rides.....it’s purely voluntary.
World Bicycle Relief is a global non-profit organisation with a mission to empower people in developing countries through life-changing mobility. Their specially designed ‘Buffalo Bikes’ help overcome the challenge of distance, where people would normally walk miles each day just to survive.
