Let's Ride - Orbital via Mouldon Hill to Purton

This gentle country route starts at the Orbital Retail Park meandering towards Mouldon Hill Country Park. The route ventures through the glorious Mouldon Hill Country Park, past the lake and over the River Ray. From there we will join a quiet country roads to make our to the quaint settlement of Purton and head uphill towards the Purton High Street and the Angel Public House.

We will make our way back by reversing the route from the Pub. This is designed to avoid having to go onto the main road and extending the route over 7.37 miles :-)

Note there is some elevation on this route, particularly uphill towards Purton High Street. If this part of the route is a struggle then some riders can walk this distance. The good news is that it's downhill all the way after we've had pit stop!
