Typically covering around forty miles, these rides will test you and require an added level of endurance, fitness and stamina. You’ll need a road bike and be able to comfortably cover at least thirty miles, at an average speed of 13-15mph, to get involved – if you’ve joined one of our Challenging rides before, then Ride Further could be the next step for you. This route takes in some of the most picturesque countryside just south of Birmingham. Within 20 minutes of leaving Cannon Hill Park, you will be rolling down country lanes, taking on the challenge of some short climbs and following the lines of an ancient Roman road. With stopping points at Umberslade Children's Farm Cafe and Dynamic Rides - the newest and brightest bike shop in the area, all before heading back to Cannon Hill Park.
