Let's Hop Over the Border

This route will take us out via Bebington, Brimstage, Thornton Hough and over to Parkgate and Neston. We will follow the route over the Burton Marshes to cross the Welsh border and pick up route 563 towards Ellesmere Port until we meet up with the 56 and head back via Capenhurst, Hooton, Eastham, Bromborough and back to Port Sunlight. We will ride on lanes, quiet roads and the Wirral Way, therefore a mix of terrain and not all surfaces may be suitable for road bikes but this will only be on short stretches. There will be a number of opportunities for comfort breaks, coffee, cake and a lunch stop which will probably be at Hosta Coffee, Ledsham. Please arrive 15 mins before departure for bike checks and try to bring a spare inner tube just in case. Don't forget a drink and any snacks you might want.
