The LGC team are leading the ultimate ride to London’s Freecycle, setting off from Danson House at 9.30am, this ride is one not to be missed. All welcome.
RideLondon FreeCycle is the ultimate ride for all cyclists. Set on a new, traffic-free eight-mile route, the event is a unique opportunity to explore central London by bike on Sunday 29 May – and it's completely free to take part!

• Route: an accessible but impressive course on traffic-free roads that takes in some of central London's most iconic landmarks – a sightseer's dream!
The 2022 RideLondon FreeCycle route passes some of central London’s most famous locations, from Pall Mall and St Paul’s Cathedral to Southbank and Somerset House. This is the first time in the event’s history that the course will cross over to the south of the Thames, so there is plenty for participants to feast their eyes on as they ride.
The route will also feature four special Festival Zones at Lincoln’s Inn Fields, Waterloo Place, Guildhall Yard and St Paul’s Churchyard and Paternoster Square. Here, riders can pause to enjoy a wealth of fun, free-of-charge activities designed to celebrate cycling and inspire more people from all backgrounds to get on their bikes!

Suitable for all bike types - Please ensure you have the stamina & Fitness for this ride. Bring an oyster/travel card just in case.
Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare inner-tube and that your seat is at the correct height also that you are dressed for the weather on the day, and that you have tools suitable for your bike.

All routes have been checked and risk assessed prior to the rides going ahead.
Covid-19 and safety info.
Riders are advised to bring face masks in case there is an incident where wearing a mask would be appropriate, hand sanitiser is also advised. Bring your own tools and equipment should the worst happed, don’t attend if you have been told to self-isolate or have covid symptom’s, please Inform the co -ordinator/leader if you develop symptoms and test positive after the ride by emailing:
[email protected] Your bike must be in road worthy condition and tyres correctly inflated, you should have at least one spare innertube, and ensure that your seat is at the correct height for your comfort and riding position, and that you are dressed for the weather on the day, please inform the leader in confidence if you are taking any prescribed medication of have any medical conditions as this info will help greatly if first aid is required. Please bring water and any refreshments required for the ride.
