LOOS There are no loos at the car park but we will cycle past the public loos at Hill Street so can make a stop there. There are also public loos if needed in Finchingfield 16m & Thaxted 24m.

The intent is to go explore somewhere new for a day out. 33 miles. 11-12 mph average
Route to be confirmed - can send a GPX file likely the Wednesday before the ride once we know the weather & wind direction.
PLANNED STOPS We should be able to get lunch/snack/drink in Thaxted at 24m – possibly at Dorringtons bakery, The Swan or elsewhere.
After the ride some plan to go visit Audley End house and gardens English Heritage site - totally optional - it is independent and there is a charge.

A 30 mile ride from Audley End with a cafe stop mid ride . 11-12 mph average. Ladies only

Back roads and some b roads, occasionally a short track but not real off road.

We stop at the top of any hills to regroup. Cafe stop mid ride

Please remember your helmet, lights, drinks (bring more if it is hot), snacks, inner tubes & tools and you might like to bring a lock for when we are at a café. BRING YOUR ENGLISH HERTIAGE CARD IF YOU HAVE ONE

We won’t leave anyone behind but please check you can do the 11-12mph average, or folk get too cold or frustrated staying as a group.
