Welcome to Let’s Go this will be our Let's Go Easter ride, our rides are fun and enjoyable easy paced friendly social rides of varying distances and themes, our rides will be covid secure following the current government guidelines and road map.
The ride and ride details: This is a 6 person ride including leader.
To, Greenwich via the Pleasaunce.
Taking place on Saturday 3rd April 9.30am start from Danson park, aiming to reach back at 1pm
Easy paced Lets Go social ride - meet at Danson Park @9.30am (in front of Danson House) this start location will allow us to meet up and carry out bike checks and ride briefing at a safe distance for us and members of the public, but still in easy reach of the toilets, this ride is on mostly quiet roads and paths where possible. We exit the park at the St Johns gate heading for Hook lane and onto Falconwood to reach Eltham Park South making our along to Rochester way using the cycle paths to reach Sun in the Sands, we then navigate the quiet side streets of Greenwich to reach the pleasaunce where we will stop briefly to view and take in the local history also stopping for refreshments and conveniences, depending on what people want to do (riders are encouraged to bring their own water & snacks) from here we head along the new cycleway and some nice infrastructure which Greenwich have, making our way towards the peninsular and the Thames path heading for Plumstead we navigate the quiet back streets to reach the Danson Park finish, the ride will finish at the park gate aiming to reach back here for 1pm. There are no major hills, just a few slopes. Harry leading. "All Welcome" we wait for all riders however, please ensure you are comfortable riding 18 miles.
All routes have been checked and risk assessed prior to the rides going ahead.

What to do If you need to cancel your ticket:
If you need to cancel your place for any reason, please use the (view and manage your order online) link which is located on the order summary you received in the confirmation email from Eventbrite this will allow another person the opportunity to ride.

Covid-19 and safety info.
It is important that we maintain a 2m social distance where possible, never less than 1m. Its Particularly important to maintain social distancing from other users on shared paths. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users can maintain 1-2 m and feel safe. Riders are advised to bring face masks in case there is an incident where wearing a mask would be appropriate, hand sanitiser is also advised. Bring your own tools and equipment should the worst happed, do not touch other riders bikes or equipment, (respect others) don’t attend if you have been told to self-isolate or have covid symptom’s, please Inform the co -ordinator/leader if you develop symptoms and test positive after the ride by emailing: [email protected] Your bike must be in road worthy condition and tyres correctly inflated, you should have at least one spare innertube, and ensure that your seat is at the correct height for your comfort and riding position, and that you are dressed for the weather on the day, please inform the leader in confidence if you are taking any prescribed medication of have any medical conditions as this info will help greatly if first aid is required. Please bring water and any refreshments required for the ride.
