A Steady & interesting fun 30 mile early evening social ride taking in the sights, sounds & smells of the West End and the 2021 Festive lights. As well as passing through green spaces and passing lots of London landmarks and places of interest. We will have a refreshment stop (bring your own food/refreshments/drinks) along the route. On this ride we will be using many of London’s cycleways and cycle paths. It’s going to be a fun and interesting ride! Wear suitable hi viz clothing for night time riding. bring plenty of lights and back up lights - why not even decorate your bike with lights. : Harry leading.

Please ensure you are ok and have the stamina for riding 30 miles, No major hills just a few slopes, we wait for all riders no one is left behind. Please bring an Oyster or travel card just in case, Suitable for all bike types. .

Arrive earlier at the Danson start if you would like to attend the free Christmas market at Danson House.

Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare inner-tube and that your seat is at the correct height also that you are dressed for the weather on the evening. wear suitable hi viz clothing for night time riding, and plenty of lights as above.

All routes have been checked and risk assessed prior to the rides going ahead.

Covid-19 and safety info.

It is important that we maintain a 2m social distance where possible, never less than 1m. Its Particularly important to maintain social distancing from other users on shared paths. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users can maintain 1-2 m and feel safe. Riders are advised to bring face masks in case there is an incident where wearing a mask would be appropriate, hand sanitiser is also advised. Bring your own tools and equipment should the worst happed, do not touch other riders bikes or equipment, (respect others) don’t attend if you have been told to self-isolate or have covid symptom’s, please Inform the co -ordinator/leader if you develop symptoms and test positive after the ride by emailing: [email protected] Your bike must be in road worthy condition and tyres correctly inflated, you should have at least one spare innertube, and ensure that your seat is at the correct height for your comfort and riding position, and that you are dressed for the weather on the day, please inform the leader in confidence if you are taking any prescribed medication of have any medical conditions as this info will help greatly if first aid is required. Please bring water and any refreshments required for the ride remember to bring an oyster or travel card.
