A lovely scenic route, all off road and most of it is flat. We will meet at the park & Ride in Leigh and get to the tow path on the canal heading to Monton. We will pass through the Boothstown marina, Worsley and then Monton.

The canal path is paved and easy going (and flat). The route 55 is also paved and almost all flat too. Once we get on the guided bus way there are some hills, but you are also rewarded with some downhill treats too.

We will make a few stops each way and a 15 minutes stop for a delicious coffee in Monton

Helmets are always advisable and glasses/sunglasses to protect your eyes from debris, dust or insects. Bring some cash or card for any refreshments.
