Apart from a short footpath section, which we will have to miss, the route follows Letchworth Greenway - a walking, cycling and horse riding route around Letchworth. We will start riding north along National Cycle Network route 12 until we reach the Greenway. When on the Greenway we will ride clockwise to avoid late runners in the Letchworth Half Marathon. Towards the end of the ride, we will divert a short distance from the Greenway to have coffee and cake at Roger's temporary home in Fairfield Park. Finally we will complete the full circuit of the Greenway and return to Letchworth Station riding back along NCN12.

A circular tour round Letchworth's Greenway

Most of the route is on traffic free tracks around Letchworth, with some short sections on quiet roads.

Towards the end of the ride we will be stopping off at Roger's temporary home in Fairfield Park where we are invited for coffee and cake. Depending on progress, we may also stop in Baldock for lunch.

Please bring a lock for your bike in case we stop in Baldock for lunch.

We ride at the speed of the slowest and never leave anyone behind. We also carry a small repair kit to get you home in the event of a minor breakdown.
