This is a leisurely social ride, aiming for 10-11mph. We will aim to stay together as a group for the whole ride, and ride at the pace of the slowest rider. There are some challenging hills, so a good level of 'bike fitness' is recommended, but we will stop and rest and take in the views when needed. This is a mixture of cyclepaths (tarmacced) and roads, so probably more suited to hybrid/gravel bikes or mountain bikes (and hence the moderate speed).

The outward route starts by joining the Norbital cyclepath, before joining the roads going through Kingsthorpe, Moulton, Overstone, stopping at Sywell Country Park for a coffee. Back via Ecton, Little Houghton before joining the cycle path again towards Sixfields and then back to St Crispins
