This route heads down the Bridgewater Way to Astley, Over Chat Moss to Irlam Station where we will stop for a coffee, turkey barm or brie toastie or similar.Return is open to discussion either back to twelve yards road to Barton Aerodrome, or Excalibur Way, Liverpool road to the Salford Greenway and back onto the Bridgewater canal to Spinners

a flat route with good paths.

Please bring an inner tube for your size of tyre should you get a puncture
