Leicester Women's Velo Long ride - It's Another Mince Pie Run

This morning we scoot out to a fantastic farm shop in Stretton Under Fosse for Mince Pies!! We ride along some very pretty lanes in South Leicestershire and stop at a farm shop which has a wide choice of foods, you may wish that you had brought your panniers along. We will ride 50 miles at an average speed of about 10 - 11 mph. The ride is challenging fun. If you think that you'll struggle at this speed let me know and we'll find a way of getting you out with us. My ride on 6th December to Thrussington Tea shop is slightly shorter at 30 miles. The ride will be suitable for road bikes, hybrids with road tyres and tourers. Please do sign up. It's great having new riders on my ride and I do always give everyone who I have not met a call before the ride for a quick chat. Please remember to bring refreshments /snacks, money, water and a spare inner tub with you.
