Leger lakes

A fantastic circular around some lovely countryside around western parts away from Doncaster. Varied tarrain mixed a not to be missed ride about 1000 ft of climb

We set off from the cricket club in Tickhill , we follow the beautiful lindrick towards the very scenic stirrup . We then have to use a main road towards oldcoates . We use some beautiful scenic routes around landgold lake we cross some feilds towards the village of lentwell . From here we go on some lovely bridleways across towards the village of Laughton le morthen this is where our cafe stop is a beautiful little tea room. After our much needed break we head back towards Maltby woods via first going through the magnificent Roche abbey navigating the famous stepping stones . Once out of maltby woods we go towards Tickhill via going through th picturesque village of Stainton . We go through the alpacas park at Tickhill and the popular fruit farm at Eastfield farm before looping around to the cricket club on Alderson drive .

Single track bridleways, farm tracks ,some main roads ,farm fields bridleways, woodland trails , and shared paved areas .

Stopping at the magnificent cafe set in a beautiful setting. Areas on route before cafe stop the beautiful country park of langold lake . Return journey we pass through the magnificent Roche abbey.

Helmets are advisable, cash / card for cafe stop . Tools and spare inner tubes to repair a possible event of a puncture ride will be paused to allow time to repair the puncture. Plenty of fluids and optional snacks.
