Left or Right? You decide!
APPROX 30 miles (this will depend on the route on the day, but will be a couple of miles either side, if not exactly 30) - expect to be out for up to 5/5.5hrs in total

Ride description:
Anyone who rides with us regularly will know that Susan's nickname is Satnav Susan... So we're going to put that nickname to the test!... As the ride title implies, YOU decide which way we'll go. So how will it work?...
We'll reach a junction (or point where we have several options of which way to go) and, as a group, you'll be given the choice - left or right (or straight-ahead!)... Susan will then get us to the next point where we have several options of which way to go and ask again - left or right?... and so on for the entire route...

It will probably be:
* mainly traffic-free
* mostly suited to bikes with robust tyres
but it may include:
* quiet roads...
* a couple of short hills...

If you know her, you'll know it'll be a decent route, regardless...
There'll be a cafe stop somewhere along the way, but bring snacks to keep you going!
Pace will be steady.
Craic will be canny.
But where will we go?!... YOU decide!...

The boring stuff ..
Ride leaders DO NOT get to see the waiting list, so if the ride is full and you join the waiting list, please drop the ride organiser a message so we have an idea of how many people are on it.
British Cycling will send an automated email if a space becomes available. It's then first through the post for getting the space.

Safety information - please read:
* The ride leader needs to be able to perform regular shoulder checks - please be mindful of safety when riding close to the leader
* Repeat any arm signals or calls such as ‘stopping’, so that riders behind you know what to expect
* In large groups, if you realise there’s a big gap between you and the person behind you, try and notify the leader.
* Although we don’t leave anyone behind, have a plan to get home if you’re unable to continue with the ride for any reason.
* If you find that we’re close to your home as we get towards the end of the ride, let the leaders know that you’ll be leaving the group.

More boring bits....
Please make sure your bike is in working condition PRIOR to arriving for the ride and bring a spare inner tube to fit your tyres (check the valve type too!) and/or a puncture repair kit. The leaders can help you fix a puncture, but only if you have the right size inner tube for your bike or a puncture repair kit!

If the weather is appalling and we cancel the ride, you'll receive a notification by email to inform you the ride has been cancelled. If you have not heard from us, we are still riding.

If you book on this ride and then find you have to cancel, please do so as soon as you can so that your place is available to someone else.

We may take photographs or videos of the ride and riders for publicity purposes. If you'd prefer not to be easily identified on images, let the ride leader know.

We look forward to seeing you.

Susan and Wendy
