Leeds - Burmantofts to Meanwood Valley and Back Again - 8 miler

A great steady undulating route starting at the inner city Lovell Park. The route travels along city streets and passes old mills, giving a flavour of the industrial herritage of the city. The route then leaves traffic behind as it enters Meanwood park and follows the Meanwood valley trail and gives the opportunity to get close to nature in the city. The route then heads back onto quiet roads and industrial archaeology. The Woodhouse Ridge is then explored before hitting the city streets and heading back to the start. A short route but with a variety of surfaces to cycle on and challenges to meet.
