The meeting point is at 10:15am for a 10:30 departure from London City Hall!

Come and join us for a 55/60 mile ride on Sunday 25th November; let by Siôn and Tupps. It’s continuous riding on a largely motor traffic and pollution free part of London which this route will offer!

There is an individual option for shorter ride of 25 miles with a return by train from Broxbourne/Hertford to Stratford and Liverpool Street for riders who wish to return by rail, or turn back at this point.

We will ride the full 55/60 mile route and we are keen to get as many of you along as possible, providing an option of a train back if for example you haven’t yet done a long distance like this before.

We meet at City Hall by the grass overlooking the Thames from 10:15am for a 10:30am departure (sharp). Casual pace, although continuous throughout. This will beat staying at home, so we want to get you back on your bike on the weekend!

We of course will have water, snack, lunch and rest breaks. This is a faster, challenging ride on mainly flat roads and off road canal type paths suitable mainly for road, hybrid, MTB, cyclocross and touring bikes. Road bike riders will feel the bumps, however will work fine, especially if you have slightly grippier tyres rather than standard stock tyres, which the former would have come with your bike when bought new. Bromptons and other folding bikes are more than welcome, although comfort will be tested over the distance!

Bring snacks, lunch, plenty of water, layers of clothing to put on if needed, a puncture repair kit (pump, tyre levers, 2 x spare inner tubes and patches) and some money if you wish to buy food. PLEASE BRING LIGHTS as you are going to be travelling in the dark, however a lock is not necessary for this ride as we will be happily minding one another's bikes.

Exact stops and stop locations to be decided on the day to suit the needs of the group, and these will be explained during the ride.

We will post in the week a location in Victoria Park and a meet time for the second meet point for East London based riders to save an early journey, because we’re just too nice!

Get your bike out of the shed/garage/living room/bedroom, get it in operation, come for a ride, meet other like minded people with a love or interest in cycling and you'll be glad to come out, even if it's cold!

.

Come and join us for a 30-mile ride on Sunday 7th October; It’s continuous riding on a largely traffic free and pollution free part of London following the lovely river lea and its paths.

Our stop is 15 miles in where we will go to the narrow boat cafe! to have late lunch, this is a lovely little cafe hidden on the riverside with indoor and outdoor seating. they also serve beer here as well!
