During today's session you will be either learning how to ride a bike or brushing up on your cycling skills. These sessions are for people who have never ridden a bike before as well as for people who want to build up their confidence on a bike. We will provide you with a helmet, bicycle and hi-viz vest for the session. If you have your own bicycle, we encourage you to bring it along for the session.
The session will take place on the Basketball Court at St Matthews.
Each session 60 minutes long. We advise that all participants bring drinks and some snacks with them for the session. You are welcome to take a break during the session should you wish
Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear such as plimsoles, flat shoes or trainers. Wear warm clothing in cold weather and bring a pair of gloves. A few layers is best, as you can take them off when you get quite warm. Baggy trousers can be tucked into long socks, or we can provide you with bands to keep trousers out of bicycle moving parts. A waterproof jacket if you have one for rainy days.
