le tour de jesmond

Le tour de Jesmond is a fun little ride taking in some of the interesting history of Jesmond and trying out the recent cycling improvements to the area. We start at the bandstand in the exhibition park on the edge of the city and Jesmond, the route will take us around 3 ish miles ending up with a trip through the magnificent Jesmond Dene to end up at pets corner where ice creams can be purchased! This is a family themed ride so speed will not be a factor, a leisurely run with a bit of historical and 'future plans' information thrown in. Safe cycling has been considered to give family cyclists the opportunity to enjoy this.
