A steady, 13 mile ride from Leavesden to Watford Cycle Hub for the Summer of Cycling festival! More information on the website at https://watfordcyclehub.org.uk/british-cycling-summer-of-cycling/ There will be hot and cold refreshments available at the Hub cafe and plenty of fun activities to enjoy before we return to Leavesden. The ride is suitable for those already used to cycling who want to build confidence, this is not a traffic free ride. We will be riding on mainly quiet roads and off road paths, some hills and junctions are en route. It's suitable for all bikes except road bikes with narrow tyres. Do check your bike in advance that it is mechanically sound and the tyres are fully pumped. Bring spare tubes, tools, water, a lock, and ensure you have alternative means of getting home if you are unable to fix a puncture. Toilets available in the parks and at the Hub. **Covid Guidance** If you experience any Covid symptoms beforehand, please cancel your place, and if you feel any symptoms after the ride, do let me know so I can inform others.
