About the route
A ride through the quiet lanes of Staffordshire to the Lazy Days cafe in Brewood. This is an excellent pit stop for savouries and cakes so please bring money for the refreshment stop around 12noon.
The ride is undulating leaving Wombourne then heading towards Pattingham, Kingswood, Codsall then into Brewood. The return leg goes past Boscobel House, Albrighton, Patshull before returning to Wombourne. ETA 3pm
This ride is suitable for ladies wanting to increase their mileage. It best suits road bikes. The wearing of a helmet is strongly advised. Please bring a spare inner tyre to fit your bike and puncture repair tools.
Come prepared for all weather conditions at this time of year in terms of clothing and lighting. I don't tend to cancel rides unless it is icy or snowing - let's hope not in October!
