Launch of Coxhoe Limestone Linx

Today is an informal launch of the recently constructed Limestone Linx paths around Coxhoe. Breeze is joining in the celebrations with a lovely easy ride around this historic magnesium limestone landscape that has made this part of Durham so uniquely rich in flora and fauna. Come and enjoy an 4-5 mile easy ride for all the family. As usual, tea, cake and sunshine guaranteed. Also Get Active are providing medals for any children taking part!! Please bring a drink, snack to keep you going and money for refreshments just in case we stop at a cafe. You are also advised to bring an extra layer and waterproof. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
