Starting point

Devon
PL7 1SR

We will set off heading westward into the glorious sunlight from the setting sun before rising into Woodford and making our way to Crossways. A swift descent takes through the estate to Newnham and Bell Close where we dip under the railway before crossing over to the cycle path which stretches our legs as we ascend to Langage via Chaddlewood. Escaping the confines of urbanity we climb further up to Sparkwell and onto to Cornwood through Lutton and the splendid countryside. A stop in Cornwood is well earned as we then swoop down over the Yealm and attack the climb of the night to Uppaton (no KOM for me). More lovely descending before gain altitude past Dinnaton as we enter the top of Ivybridge and an additional freewheel into the town and over the river Erme. Skirting round the town centre we head off to the cycle path to Cadleigh and a cheering break at the Hunting Lodge. Having caught our breath we are off back to our start along the cycle path to Lee Mill and Smithaleigh which delivers us onto the Ridgeway through Plympton to the finish line.
