Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.

This is a nice flat ride along Morecambe promenade. On this ride you will be blessed with views of the Bay and looking out over to the Lake District. Along the route you will get to see the Eric Morecambe statue, sand sculptures and the iconic Midland Hotel which has been restored to its former glory. Weather and tides permitting you will also get to see sailing dingies and kite surfers. The ride starts and finishes at Happy mount Park a wonderful place to have a picnic either before or after your Sky Ride (http://www.happymountpark.co.uk/). You will cycle along the promenade to the Battery / Breeze cafe and here will will have a short stop giving yopu a chance for a ice cream and for any children the chance to play in the playground. Plenty to see all along the route and 99% traffic free.
