Lakeside to Loversall and Amazon Lakes

A mainly flat, traffic free, circular route from Lakeside to to Loversall and the Amazon Lakes. Using shared paths round Lakeside and over the railway to B&Q then up the old railway path to Tickhill Road then to Loversall and along a bridle way known as Rakes Lane to Amazon Lakes where we will stop for refreshments. Annabelles is now closed on Wednesdays but we will have a social distancing Macmillan Coffee Break. Please bring your own drinks. Returning via the IPort and the new path near to the Yorkshire Way then along the Greenway to the Red path back through Bessacarr. We can extend the ride to the Yorkshire Y and through Hayfield Lakes if participants would like a longer ride.

Extending the Amazon lakes circular to include Loversall.

The majority of the route is traffic free starting on shared paths around Lakeside and over the railway to B&Q then up the old railway path to Tickhill Road, along to Loversall then along a bridle way to Amazon Lakes returning via Rossington Greenway and Bessacarr Red Path

We will stop for Refreshments at Annabelles at Amazon Lakes.

Helmets are advisable. Please bring money or card if you wish to buy refreshments. You should also have a spare inner tube and tools to change in case of puncture. You may also wish to bring hand gel during the current COVID conditions.
