Lake Ride with swim (optional)/sunbathing

Depart at 7:00 for a 12M ride at 8-11mph to arrive at lake at 09:00am then choice of either sunlounging onto the lake shore (grass area) of Copthorne Hotel or dipping for a swim into the lake (with supervision and entrance fee of 5 pounds so bring swimming costume in rucksack and changing facilities available with shower - refreshments available hot coffee/tea and vending machine with chocs and crips) water temperature of 18/20C so neoprene wetsuit optional as most people can tolerate swimming without a wetsuit at this time of year - relax up to 10am either swimming or sunbathing then depart at 10am for a ride back of 12M to be back at car park at around 12pm (option to pop into tesco with bikes for those who need refreshments with an extra 2M trip to Tesco) - option of further ride available for the few who wish to build up their mileage with an extra loop of 15M (Bramley loop) to be back by 3pm. Total mileage: 39M (but option to opt out and finish with 24M by lunchtime and +2M i.e. 41M with trip to Tesco for refuelling if need be). Early starting times due to lake facilities closing at 10am for swimming.  Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help.
