Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

The large car park to the left of the South Ribble Council Offices, West Paddock, Leyland. PR25 1HR

Starting from West Paddock Leyland, we will head through Moss Side, Midge Hall, Whitestake, Penwortham and take up part of the Guild Wheel Route until we hit the Docks. Then its through Lea, Wharles, Elswick, Singleton, Hambleton and Presall before we reach Knott End.

There will be two choices for a stop. The Knott End Chippy or the Knott End Cafe. This is approx 30 miles into the ride.

Once we have been suitably fed & watered, we will head to the ferry and take the crossing over and head over to Fleetwood. We'll follow the coastline down to Blackpool and Lytham, where the opportunity to stop for a coffee.
We'll then carry on through Warton, Freckleton and back towards the Docks, taking us back onto part of the Guild Wheel. We'll then take on the last leg, up the Old Tram Road, through to Farington Moss and back to West Paddock.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As this is a 100km ride, we will need to start on time. Please arrive and be ready to ride at 8:30 am prompt.
Each rider will be responsible for their own bike and maintenance during this ride.

Pre-Ride Checks (preferably the day before the ride).
Please make sure that prior to the ride, your bike is roadworthy.
* Tyres are pumped up and you have spare inner tubes, tyre levers, and repair kit in the unlikely event of a puncture.
* Front and Back brakes are in working condition.
* Handlebars and saddle aren't loose.
* Wheels are secured, nuts aren't loose.
* Pedals are secure. They should spin freely but not feel wobbly.
* Check your helmet is secure and not loose.
* Wear suitable cycling clothes for the weather - padding on shorts/tights will be your friend on this ride!

* Make sure you have enough snacks, gels and drinks to keep you going throughout the ride. There will be the opportunity to refill drinks at the cafe stops and a further stop in Lytham.
