Kirklees Riders - Sandal Castle & Hepworth Gallery

From Leggers we will start out along the Ossett Greenway to Horbury and then head along Green Lane to Sandal Castle.
We will follow the Barnsley Road to Hepworth Gallery, Thornes Park and then Green Lane etc.

Due to last week’s change of route this Sunday’s ride will leave the Leggers Inn and take in Sandal Castle and the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield.

We will travel along a combination of greenways, towpaths and tarmac roads. We will encounter a reasonable amount of traffic on the tarmac sections so riders will need to be confident in those situations. Mountain bikes or hybrids with off-road tyres are more suited to this ride. Road tyres will struggle in places.

Helmets are mandatory on all Kirklees Riders outings.
