Kirklees Riders - Ringway & Greenway To Low Moor

This Sunday’s ride will start out along the Spen Valley Greenway to Heckmondwyke but then cut across to the Ringway as far as Cleckheaton.
From there we will cross back to the Greenway and follow it right up to the terminus at Low Moor.
From there we can either head straight back down to Leggers or do the loop that would take round past Woodlands Cricket Club and up through Victoria Park and then re-joining the Greenway.
We can decide this on the day.

This Sunday’s ride will head up Spen Valley Greenway to Heckmondwyke before crossing over to Ringway. At Cleckheaton we’ll cross back over again and continue up to Low Moor before returning back down the Greenway.

We will travel along a combination of greenways and tarmac roads. We will encounter a reasonable amount of traffic on the tarmac sections so riders will need to be confident in those situations. Mountain bikes or hybrids with off-road tyres are more suited to this ride. Road tyres could struggle in places.

Helmets are mandatory on this ride.
