Leaving Kinross we travel in an anti clockwise direction westbound towards Dalqueich meandering alongside the River North Queich - a tributary of Loch Leven. We take a quiet farm road to Carnbo where we turn up to the beautiful Gelvan Moor. We pass Tullibole Castle Estate before heading south east back towards Kinross via Coldrain and Cockairney. Views of the hills, hedges full of wildlife, and an idyllic rural landscape. Great for mindfulness!

The route travels anti-clockwise out of Kinross on lovely quiet rural roads winding alongside the North Queich river, enjoying with lovely views of hills and nature all around us. We take a quiet road over the stunning Gelvan Moor returning to Kinross via the Cleish Road after passing through Coldrain.

We will cycle almost entirely on quiet cycling friendly tarmac roads. There is one very short section on the A91 through the village of Carnbo which has a 40mph limit.

We will stop to have drinks or a snack as needed.

Helmets are recommended. Please bring a spare inner tube, a well maintained bike with tyres pumped up, a waterproof and an extra layer as it becomes cool quickly in the evenings. Bring a drink and a snack. Eyewear/sunglasses will help prevent small midges or insects getting into your eyes.

We never leave anyone behind
