A clockwise journey around Loch Leven on gravel paths through a variety of pretty countryside with beautiful views of nature, the loch and Kinross-shire.
A fun Christmassy ride enjoying a clockwise loop of Loch Leven on the Heritage Trail setting off from Kirkgate Park, at the far end car park beside the cemetery watchtower. Get your Santa/Elf outfits on, and add some Christmas lights, tinsel and jingle bells to your bike. (Just be sure nothing can catch in your chain or moving parts). Let's have some fun and spread a bit of Christmas cheer as we ride. We will stop for coffee and cake at RSPB Loch Leven at Vane Farm.

The route is almost entirely traffic free except for a few hundred metres to get to the cafe stop at Lochend Farm. The paths are gravel and in pretty good condition. We will have lovely views of the loch, enjoy the wintery section through the silver birch trees (it's like Narnia!) and admire Kinross-shire from all the viewpoints along the way. Undoubtedly we will see some lovely nature as the path is part of the RSPB national nature reserve.

We will stop of riders to have drinks and snacks as needed. There is a coffee stop planned at Lochend Farm Coffee Shop so please bring some money.

Helmets are advisable. Please dress for the weather and for the Christmas season!

We never leave anyone behind
