The ride will start and finish from the Worthies Sports and Social club. Post code SO23 7TF Free parking if driving.
All are welcome on the ride including first time riders and those with any experience. We will ride at a very steady pace as a group so that all can enjoy the ride.
Any roadworthy bike will be suitable. Please check your bike to ensure it is roadworthy before the ride.
The ride will head towards Itchen Abbas, Abbotstone and up Folly Hill to the Spitfire Memorial. From there it's downhill to Itchen Stoke, Ovington and then a gentle ride back through the valley to the Cricketers Pub for refreshments (12 miles).
Please ensure you have a helmet and in case of a puncture the necessary bits and bobs to undertake a repair (inner tube or repair kit with tools and pump). Assistance, however, can be provided if needed. Please bring some water and a snack, just in case. Please also have suitable clothes for weather conditions.
