A gentle social ride from Kings Park out to the edge of the Stour Valley and back. This ride uses traffic free paths and quiet residential roads and is low speed, so no one gets left behind! We visit Queens Park, Holdenhurst Village and pass through Bournemouth's Green Belt close to the River Stour...

Safety: This is not a particularly hazardous ride, but you do ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions. Pedestrians have priority on traffic free sections and we ride accordingly. There are some off-road sections on gravel with a few bumps. The ride may not be suitable for road bikes and there is a pinch point on the route which would obstruct cargo bikes and tricycles.

Weather: this ride will not take place if there are strong winds (>20 mph on the BBC website Bournemouth forecast 2 hours before the ride) and/or heavy rain.
