In front of the Victorian Tearooms in Kings Heath Park. There is plenty of free parking.

This ride will be a great chance to discover where you can cycle without being amongst the traffic! We will set off along quiet roads then mainly on cycle paths, including the newly widened canal towpath, riding out along the River Rea cycle path to Kings Norton Nature Reserve, then back via Kings Norton Park. There will be one hill to get back to Kings Heath. We can always walk! Please bring a spare inner tube, waterproofs, some money and lights in case it's dull and if you plan to ride home. There's no need for Lycra but hi vis or reflective gear is suitable. Helmets are advisory but not compulsory. It will be National Bike Week from 13th-21st June, so why not kickstart it with this ride?
