Join us for a ride over to Kettlewell to check out the Scarecrow Festival, it was fabulous last year

This ride is open to ladies and gents

There are a couple of challenging climbs but we will take them together, mainly quiet back roads

Leaving the station we head through the town past the castle and onto Embsay, drop down the gated road to Bolton Abbey, cut through the estate down to Cavendish Pavilion, across the river and onto Storiths lane then onto Appletreewick, Hartlington, Burnsall, Grassington, Conistone and Kettlewell.

We will spend 45 minutes here for lunch, take selfies etc. If you are short of time, there is an option to leave the ride here and make your way back to Skipton

Leaving Kettlewell we will head back to Grassington, Thorpe, Cracoe, Hetton, Flasby then Gargrave for a short section of towpath at Lane End Swing bridge, over A65 onto Thorlby, Stirton and back to Skipton passing the Castle on the way down High street

Train from Shipley- 9.56am arrives 10.26am, it is cheaper to book ticket from Bradford Forster Square and get on at Shipley £2.30, returns vary from £2.30/£2.70
