Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. This is a bike ride along Keswick’s old railway line. Trains have long since stopped running on the line and it’s been resurfaced to make a superb traffic free walking and cycling route.  Along the way look out for the old station platform, bridges and tunnels, this ride is perfect for families and people wanting an easygoing ride, at a leisurely pace. Bike Hire Bikes are available to hire from Keswick Leisure Centre, which is adjacent to the start point. Please call 017687 72760 in advance to reserve a bike. * Please do not use the postcode with a Sat Nav to find the start point. It will take you close to the area where the ride starts, but it is likely to take you to Station Road, which cannot be used to access the start area. The parking should be accessed from Brundholme Road and Station Avenue.
