This is a leisurely route (albeit with a couple of noticeable climbs) to the White Horse pub in Harrow-on-the-Hill. It complements another ride that sets of from Harrow Rec. It's a little longer and has a smidgeon more climbing.

The route heads north towards Stanmore before making a loop through Weald, Headstone Manor, West Harrow and South Harrow. It then takes us up Mount Park Road, levels off along High Street and descends to the pub. We’ll spend an hour or so socialising with the other group and riders who make their own way.

The much shorter return leg starts with another climb up the hill before taking in a downhill towards Harrow town centre. It then continues on quiet to return us to Kenton Rec.

We plan to finish the ride before it gets dark, but bring lights in case we are delayed and to ensure you can make it home safely.

If you can't make the ride, or live closer to the pub, you are welcome to meet us there. We plan to arrive by 19:15 and stay for about an hour.

Speed 8mph. Climbing 580ft.

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the bar, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
