If you're interested in coming along to our Saturday ride for the first time, please read this https://kendal.cc/saturday-club-ride/ and register by emailing [email protected]. We welcome riders of any ability and age to join our friendly cycling community. The Blue B group ride leaves at 9.15 am prompt from Kendal Leisure Centre (meet at the back of the car park towards the cycle path). Blue B group rides are 25-35 miles long, averaging 10-13 mph (over 16 year olds and members only). We are following new guidelines due to Covid-19 so please do not arrive more than 10 mins before the start of the ride. Different ride colours have different start times. While riding in a group everyone must maintain a minimum distance of 1m+ at all times. As per government guidelines then a 2m distance between people is desirable where this is safe to do so. Group sizes will be a maximum of 6 but can also be less if people feel more comfortable riding in smaller groups. For more details about the club routes please see www.kendal.cc. We look forward to welcoming you to the club. Today's ride is through lovely countryside to Sedbergh. There are a few steep climbs on this route.

We will be riding mainly on quiet country roads.

We will stop to admire views, have a rest and a drink along the route. There will be an opportunity to purchase a takeaway drink.

Helmets, waterproof clothing, drinks bottle and spare inner tubes are advisable. Please bring money if you wish to buy refreshments.

We never leave anyone behind
