Starting from - Meet at Batchwood, the lower car park ready to leave at 9.30.
There is a height barrier at the entrance.
Parking is free and unlimited.
There are toilets within the sports centre. AL3 5XA

We will meet at Batchwood, leaving at 9.30 and head out of St Albans to Harpenden where we can pick people up at Brew and Crew at 09.50, if pre-arranged. We will then wend our way through the country lanes up to Preston, dropping down into Kings Walden and stopping for coffee at the Shooting Lodge before heading back to St Albans, around 35 miles.

Mainly quieter country roads

We will stop towards the end of the ride, approx 25 miles, at the Shooting Lodge

This is a ride for experienced riders aiming for an average speed of 13-14mph. Please remember to wear a helmet and wear clothing suitable for the weather. COVID 19 precautions will be maintained so please bring a water bottle, money for the stop and your own puncture repair kit.
