Starting point

Devon
PL7 4NW

A ride aimed at new and returning cyclists or those whose don’t get out with a group too often.
If nothing else Plymouth is noted for its waterfront. So what better than a gentle ride across a good part of that spectacle. Hopefully, as it’s now summer, a chance to indulge in coffee and cake and take a look at all that money sat doing nothing in the marina.
Beginning at Coypool park and ride we’ll take a pootle through the National Trust’s Saltram House and gardens heading for the mouth of the River Plym at Laira Bridge.
From there it pretty much a case of following NCN 27 through Cattedown, The Barbican, The Hoe and Stonehouse ending up at Mayflower Marina and its cafe Jolly Jacks.
Refreshed it’s a slightly more direct route back through Millbay and The Barbican and returning to our start point along the Embankment cycle path.
