Check out this wonderful 13 mile seaview ride along Weston shoreline of Southampton Water starting from the historic Bargate and following the shoreline all the way to the ancient maritime village of Hamble, via the Royal Victoria Country Park and back again. There's so much to see along the way including the Norman Gateway to the medieval town of Southampton (Bargate), Itchen Bridge, Weston Shore views, the Chapel in Royal Victoria Country Park and of course, Hamble village itself. There are two great refuelling stops too, at Hamble beach cafe, or in the country park. Please note that this ride is ideally suited for mountain bikes, hybrid type of bikes and non racing bikes. Topography Mostly Flat !
